Can you build glory for HotG with other weapons or do I need maces for that too?

You can get glory using other weapons if you have hotg slotted. Of course you need a mace swap to use it when it gets enough glory.

My bleed titan uses it for single target while using my Rake for aoe.

You build glory with heavy stuns. Warriors lay those down with maces as part of skill loops. I'm not sure how that would work for other classes but I have a feeling that heavy stuns aren't in your loop.
