I want to make Fettered Monstrosity viable.
So here's the thing.
He has sh*loads of hitpoints, which makes me eye infernal legion and minion instability.
He is worth 82% of a comet by himself through CoMD, with no passive skill tree investment or supports.
He has a poison cloud of his own that he drops at his own feet if he's been alive awhile.
Theoretically, there's viability here somewhere.
But the problems seem insurmountable:
He's too fucking big. The AoE range is determined by his center of mass, and nothing can get close enough to the center of mass to actually take damage from either infernal legion or minion instability
He's so expensive that I can field two of him at most, so CoMD with full investment would only drop a few comets every 8 seconds or so.
The problem is, he's beautiful.
Just look at him. He's a giant firey golden blob of death. He's everything I ever wanted to be following me around as a pet.
Help me make him work. Give me ideas.

Anyway, wouldn't he be the perfect shunt for eating damage for you via things like Loyalty support? Add to that then with Starkonja's Head, negating a cool quarter of all the damage coming at you. He's also a great life battery for any other minions via Deathmarch support, and should make for a very durable Soul Offering target too. He should be able to survive your life pool, so Minion Pact is another cool 30% More damage too.
Just go full Papa Nurgle and imagine his miserable suffering is actually ecstatic joy.
Can you kill it with the skill whose name i forgot and then explode the corpse? If it got a ton of hp that should do a ton of damage
You can probably grab all the minion AoE in the universe in the hopes it's enough?
At that spirit cost you will need to make some one shot DD build to make it work. Pump minion HP and aoe and hope to one shot screen wide.
Oh God I have a pathfinder decompose build that I wanted to make but couldn't find a minion to run it with. How much health exactly does he have?

But it already works though.... there are some clips on tube sites. There is a guy using this as a bossing spectre and for clear he's using....giant mosquitoes ? with infernal legion, fire resist curse and so on...
Anyway you can juice his area bonus so infernal legion works?
What does his ignite even tick for at highest hp?
With that much hp he's perfect to nuke bosses with blood mage. Avatar of fire + blood barbs & crit scaling for huge bleed/ignite on bosses. I'd use a weapon swap for mapping though because more bodies + increased aoe is better than that much damage.
