I literally only got a single wisdom scroll and 40 some gold from a rare strongbox. Absolutely ridiculous. I know its in still beta, but even so that's fuckin ridiculous.

This is act one. Extra content like strongboxes has always been pointless to do in early acts in PoE1 as well.

The "speed" problem of the game is actually a loot problem. Given the amount of time and effort you should've been rewarded by a couple of pieces of loot at the very least.
They want a slower gameplay but you can only get a reasonable amount of loot in reasonable time if you're zooming and killing shit very very fast. If they want a slower game, loot should be more common because we'll be killing less monsters anyway.
This is how I honestly envisioned the slower POE 2 gameplay to look like. Those firenadoes look so cool btw!
You didnt play with enough vision. Thats why the drops were so bad.
I'm confused -- you used an exalt orb on a regular strongbox at like level 10? I guess I just don't see any version of PoE, 1 or 2, where this is a play that on average yields good results.
Probably has something to do with the fact you're way over-leveled for the zone you're in, I do not know for sure though
