Blood Mage, Rathpith and my CoC addiction

11

I love CoC, and this month I want to play a build that has it as a main focus.

I also love Rathpith ever since it, along with Relic of the Pact, carried my ass through settlers League in poe1.

As you can imagine I want to do both, and BM seems the obvious choice. For now I want to avoid the bleed shenanigans with rake/blood hunt that while very interesting, don't really fit the CoC lifestyle I'm aiming to embody.

If anyone has some build guides they've had fun with, I would love to see them.

I've seen a few around spark/CoC Arc + choir (an item I also love) but none that also include Rathpith and I don't feel quite confident enough to just slot it in without people online telling me it's a good idea

(Also if anyone could help my Lich out with her last ascendancy points + swapping to BM I'd be very thankful)

Machine gun fusillade with reduced duration and comet in your single coc, using ice wall and cold cursed ground to amp up the dmg on bosses.

Its pretty amazeballs.

What spell do you want in coc? I've played two comet coc bm versions. One with a Wand and one with a spear

There's plenty of Choir + Globe builds, though you'd ideally modify your build once you get Rath. Until then you can just run Spark and Choir. The build can also use Sacred Flame as offhand for another CoC though I understand that you want to run a build with Rath.

Ice Nova for mapping + Frost Wall for bosses + CoC (Comet) with Rathpith works really well. I play a cold Infernalist and also used Rathpith (excellent crit chance even as Infernalist with 1.9k HP). I had a great time with it.
